Foodlums Minutes 9/19/08

-Shed
shed plans can be viewed on the W drive.
we really like the blue doors as pictured, but mural doors are also being strongly considered

-Hmong picnic
tue. (9/23) - foodlums will help cut veggies at the UW extension office in Altoona
wed. (9/24)- foodlums will be helping to grill veggies and with childrens games at the picnic (pine pavillion in carson park)
tue. night Danielle, Justin and Tehya can help
wed. night Dylan and PaHoua can help.

-Just Local Food is moving... sometime.... you can sign up at the store to help on moving day.

-Compost grant
if you will be around this year and most of next year you could get a job managing compost through a grant. The grant still needs to be written, but Sarah Peterson is in a grant-writing class and Corey thinks she would help write it
the worms plan can be incorperated into the grant to help prove our dedication and excitement.
strange occurances are just alligning!! (grant, sarah peterson's grant-writing knowledge, and worms)

-Sunbow CSA far, could use some help 9-12 sun. morning. (sept 28)
come to the next meeting and we'll organize rides and such. If you can't make the meeting but want to go, e-mail ane (klompsac)

-Homecoming
we really want to have issac run for homecoming court-- mostly as a way to raise awareness for foodlums, but also just for fun. imagine issac dressed in a suitcoat made of woven corn hair and pea buttons.
also, parade float could be amazing. i'm thinking a cornicopia...
yes.

-Potluck
was amazing. everyone agreed the spread was beyond dilectable and the company was out of this world!
